My 30 minute lunch break is often my only refuge from the stress of my work day. I try to venture out of the building as much as possible, but a destination is needed. I will often use this time to run errands, pick up a slurpee, or wander aimlessly around CVS. More on CVS and why i love it so much later.
On days that I can't think of anywhere to go, or the weather is too treacherous to venture out, i sit in the office with the windows closed, yet somehow i still get accosted by staff members and students with no respect for the lunch break. I do not dare enter the staff lounge, i might as well stick a target on my forehead. Plus, it reeks in there.
